Big 12 power rankings: Week 3
Aside from TCU’s win over Cal, it was a fairly dreadful week for the conference
Oklahoma (2-0, Last week: 1): The Sooners came to play in Week 2, beating up on Western Carolina. Next up is Nebraska.
TCU (2-0, Last week: 6): The most impressive win might actually belong to the Horned Frogs, who beat Cal over the weekend. TCU's Zach Evans had a massive day on the ground with 190 yards and a touchdown.
Kansas State (2-0, Last week: 3): Kansas State overcame Southern Illinois 31-23, but starting quarterback Skylar Thompson is out indefinitely with a knee injury. It’s uncertain whether he’ll return to action this season.
Iowa State (1-1, Last week: 4): The Cyclones fell 27-17 to Iowa. To be frank, I’m not sure whether or not Iowa State just isn’t as good as we expected or if Iowa is a legitimate playoff contender this season. Perhaps both are true but what a massive letdown for the ‘Clones.
Texas Tech (2-0, Last week: 5): The Red Raiders topped Stephen F. Austin 28-22 in what became a difficult out for Tech. Solid day for Red Raiders running back Tahj Brooks, who had 115…
